Juan Ramirez founded Grupo Avance with the mission to help companies grow their business into Mexico, Latin American, and the U.S. Hispanic markets.
A native of Mexico, Juan Ramirez studied business and marketing at the Universidad Veracruzana,
Miami University,
and University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
Prior to founding Grupo Avance, Juan worked at IBM, GE, and other technology consulting firms,
as a sales and marketing
executive where he managed key clients such as 3M, Carlson Companies, General Mills,
Donaldson Company, BlueCross BlueShield
and others.
Grupo Avance is led by Juan's strong Hispanic marketing and cultural knowledge along with his
extensive sales & marketing experience and management training. He —and his team of international executives— have a
passion to advance commerce
in the U.S. Hispanic, Mexican, and Latin American markets.
Since 2003, Grupo Avance has successfully implemented a variety of new business development projects —across multiple industries— in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Central America, U.S. Hispanic market, and others.
Juan Ramirez is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Minnesota,
Minnesota Minority Supplier
Development Council, and teaches International Business and Corporate Strategies at
Northwestern College in MN.
